Terms and Conditions - Barnes Man with Van

Welcome to Barnes Man with Van. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By engaging with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

• Service: Refers to the moving and transportation services provided by Barnes Man with Van.
• Client: The individual or entity requesting our services.
• Agreement: The contract formed between Barnes Man with Van and the Client based on these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Reservations

To book our services, the Client must provide accurate and complete information. Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation from Barnes Man with Van.

2.1. Availability

All bookings are subject to availability. We recommend booking well in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure service availability.

2.2. Payment Terms

Upon booking, a deposit may be required to secure the reservation. The remaining balance is due on the day of the service. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and bank transfers.

3. Service Provision

Barnes Man with Van commits to providing reliable and professional moving services. Our team will handle your belongings with care and ensure timely delivery to your specified destination.

3.1. Packing and Handling

While we offer packing assistance, it is the Client's responsibility to declare any fragile or valuable items. Proper packing labels should be used to indicate special handling instructions.

3.2. Liability

Barnes Man with Van is liable for any damage caused to the Client's property during the service, up to a specified limit. Clients are encouraged to obtain additional insurance for high-value items.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Clients may cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled service without incurring a penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

4.1. Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Client Obligations

• Provide accurate information regarding the move.
• Ensure access to the property on the scheduled date and time.
• Inform Barnes Man with Van of any specific requirements or restrictions related to the move.

5.1. Preparation for Move

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all items to be moved are ready and accessible. Disassembly of large furniture may be required prior to the service.

6. Barnes Man with Van Responsibilities

• Arrive at the agreed time and location.
• Provide trained and professional staff for the move.
• Maintain the safety and security of the Client's belongings throughout the move.

6.1. Equipment and Vehicles

We ensure that all vehicles and equipment used are well-maintained and suitable for the moving tasks. Clients are notified in advance if any changes to the assigned vehicle are necessary.

7. Privacy Policy

Barnes Man with Van respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for providing our services and is not shared with third parties without consent.

7.1. Data Protection

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. Clients have the right to access and rectify their personal information held by us.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Barnes Man with Van operates.

8.1. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

9.1. Acceptance of Changes

Continued use of our services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

10. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between Barnes Man with Van and the Client.
• Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that term.

10.1. Force Majeure

Barnes Man with Van is not liable for delays or failures to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or other unforeseen events.
